Natto has been known as a traditional dish in Japan for over 1000 years. Natto is prepared from soaked and then cooked soybeans, which are fermented for 2-3 days at a constant temperature in a heat box by adding the bacteria culture Bacillus subtilis ferment.
The Natto dish is ready when the beans are covered by a visible film and pull threads. European taste buds are not necessarily thrilled with this traditional dish because it has a strong cheesy smell. This preparation then produces the enzyme nattokinase.
Nattokinase is a so-called fibrinolytic peptidase. Peptidases are enzymes that can break down proteins (albumin) and then convert them into more digestible amino acids.
Our Nattokinase capsules contain 100 mg of Nattokinase and 2000 FU per capsule. FU stands for "fibrinolytic units" and indicates the enzyme activity of nattokinase.
Our nattokinase capsules are free of soy and vitamins K1 and K2.
It should be noted that Nattokinase should not be taken with blood thinning medications (e.g. Marcumar, ASS, Aspirin etc.)!

Why can the Nattokinase capsules vary slightly in color depending on the batch?
Our Nattokinase contains 100 mg of Nattokinase per capsule. Since the capsule must be completely filled for technical reasons, we use about 400 mg of organic rice flour (instead of chemical/artificial fillers) to completely fill the capsule. Since the rice flour is not bleached, it may vary slightly in appearance (color) depending on the batch. Due to the fact that rice flour makes up the majority of the capsule's contents, slight changes in the color of the rice flour may result in a different appearance of the capsule. This is, of course, completely harmless and due to the fact that rice flour is an organic natural product.
Why is Nattokinase soy-free if it is derived from soybeans?
Although our Nattokinase is originally derived from soybeans, only the enzyme nattokinase is "extracted" from them. The remaining components of the soybean extract are separated and through the subsequent purification, the nattokinase no longer contains soy. This is also tested and confirmed by external laboratories.
