Pomegranate is one of the oldest cultural and health fruits of mankind, whose origin is believed to be in Asia. From ancient times to the Middle Ages, it was a symbol of vitality and fertility. The oil extracted from the seeds of the pomegranate is considered royal oil!

Our organic pomegranate seeds are separated from the pulp and cleaned. In cooperation with a German oil mill, they are gently cold pressed and unroasted. It is from first pressing, unfiltered and natural. Pomegranate seed oil is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids. Especially important for the quality of the oil is the so-called punicic acid. This particular acid belongs to the omega-5 fatty acids and therefore occurs naturally only in very few oils. 

To obtain 1 liter of pomegranate seed oil, about 500 kg of fruit are needed. 

Our organic pomegranate seed oil is of food quality and therefore suitable for consumption. It can be added to lukewarm dishes or liquids or taken pure. The taste of the oil is usually different from what most people expect. Since the seeds of the pomegranate are used rather than the fruit, the oil tastes more mineral than fruity. 

Pomegranate seed oil is also particularly suitable for face and body care. It can be applied pure or mixed with a cream. Most users prefer to mix it with their usual body or face care. The oil is very productive and therefore a few drops are usually enough.
