Chlorophyll: the natural pigment that keeps plants alive

Chlorophyllis found in all green plants and algae and is therefore also known as leaf green. It is a natural pigment that can be produced by all plants that photosynthesise. This is because chlorophyll enables plants to use sunlight to produce glucose (sugar), water and oxygen, which serve as food for the plant and ensure that it can live and grow.

Our chlorophyll drops are obtained by extraction from the alfalfa plant (Medicago sativa). This particular plant species was brought from Persia to Greece and from there to America and Germany, where it was used as animal feed and is still used today for the production of medicines.
