Our liquid probiotics products
The human intestine has about 400 - 500 different microorganisms called intestinal bacteria that manage the digestive process. These develop immediately after birth and form the intestinal flora. At the age of two to three years, colonization is largely complete and forms a very complex ecosystem. With a total mass of about two kilograms, the microorganisms weigh more than the brain - and develop greater biochemical activity than the liver. They receive food and lodging in the intestine and provide valuable services in return. If the intestinal flora balance is disturbed, it can be useful to supply essential intestinal bacteria. Bifidobacteria bifidum, for example, naturally colonize our entire digestive tract. As long as these probiotic bacteria are alive and able to multiply, they release acidic metabolites (bifidin) into the environment. Bifidobacteria lower the pH in the colon by converting glucose (i.e. sugar) to acetic acid and lactic acid.
