Curcuma - 95% curcumin 60 capsules

Turmeric (curcuma longa), also known as yellow ginger, turmeric root, or curcuma, belongs to the ginger family. The spice is cultivated primarily in tropical regions of South Asia and has been revered as a sacred plant in many cultures for more than 5,000 years. Turmeric gets its ochre-yellow color from the "curcumin" it contains. Today, it is used in more diverse ways than almost any other product.

We do NOT use piperine(black pepper extract) to improve absorption. Why? Piperine's spiciness is said to increase the absorption of turmeric. However, it does this by irritating the stomach lining. This irritation increases blood flow, and theoretically, active ingredients can be better absorbed. But this can lead to undesirable and even dangerous side effects or interactions. Piperine should not be taken by pregnant women, but is also hazardous to the health of any other user in larger quantities. Piperine not only enhances turmeric and its absorption, but also, in an uncontrolled manner, any other active ingredients or medications being taken. Therefore, we do not use any additives in our turmeric product. We use a patented, branded raw material with the highest absorption rate on the market and a 95% curcuminoid content. Each of our capsules contains 95% curcumin. This means that each capsule contains 475 mg of turmeric, of which 451.25 mg is curcumin.
