Our intestinal flora capsules contain five different strains of bacteria, namely:

  1. Bifidobacterium longum
  2. Lactobacillus acidophilus
  3. Lactobacillus paracasei
  4. Bifidobacterium bifidum
  5. Streptococcus thermophilus

These 5 bacterial strains provide a total of 30 billion germs per day (3 capsules).

The intestine with its countless microorganisms is a fascinating organ, even if it is rarely talked about openly. With its 8 meters in length, its tube-like shape and a surface area of around 400 square meters, the intestine is the largest interface between our organism and the outside world. Any food is predigested by the stomach and broken down in the intestine by intestinal bacteria and made available to the body as nourishment through the intestinal mucosa via the bloodstream.

The intestine ensures an intact immune system and supports important organ functions. With its intestinal flora, it does much more than just break down food, absorb nutrients and excrete unused substances. The intestine is the most important part of our digestive tract, in whose large intestine a multitude of microorganisms (various good strains of bacteria) can be found - also called our intestinal flora. This is primarily responsible for the defense against pathogens and therefore plays an important role in our health. If this intestinal flora is not intact, unpleasant symptoms usually occur.

The most common gastrointestinal complaints include:

  • Full feeling
  • Flatulence
  • Heartburn
  • Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Nausea
  • Stomach cramps
  • Intestinal fungi / parasites
  • Constipation or diarrhea
